It’s true. We may be apart – 6-feet distant at least – but we’re all together. Physically we can be apart but spiritually we’re all connected. What we do now matters. We can help each other. We can do what each of us can for each other.
I took my boys to help deliver groceries to the elderly in our neighborhood. We delivered 15 boxes of groceries. It’s such a small thing, really 15 boxes of groceries are nothing. But the reactions told us it meant so much. Each box delivered said, “someone cares.” It may be the best thing you can say to anyone when times are difficult.
I’ve made hand salves for nurses and doctors in our area. I hope you can support the effort at my GoFundMe. I will deliver them with a note that says, “Someone cares!” with the names of everyone who has donated. It is not much but it is something, too.
Hope you are well,
Kadidja
