You asked me to report on how my persistent finger infection responded to your hand cream. This was a persistent infection which lasted two or more years, recurring generally just as the weather turned colder in november and abating in the spring.
i’ve been racking my brain trying to think of the name the doctors eventually gave it, but am coming up short there. regarding treatments prior to your hand cream, I must’ve visited the bellevue emergency room at least three times; with follow-up visits to the bellevue hand clinic at least as many times. i was given at least three different rounds of antibiotics/antifungals as the doctors experimented away, not knowing how exactly to treat the strange condition. I also visited a dedicated hand specialist m.d. who prescribed a new antibiotic + cream. under the care of these numerous doctors i was instructed to keep the hand dry (gloved while washing dishes etc) except for several soaks a day in epsom salts combined with that dark antiseptic juice whose name i also can’t recall.
When I first met you and brought this to your attention you steered me to a local herbalist. They gave me some sort of antifungal tincture. none of the above resulted in eliminating the infection. Finally you suggested trying your cream. further, you insisted on giving me (free of charge) a container, saying i could pay if it worked. hallelujah! not only did the infection finally disappear, but you wouldn’t accept payment for it after all! you did allow me to buy another tin as a christmas present for friends.
