The Year in Review!

In the middle of the East 10th Street Block Festival, the rain suddenly came down. We were all drenched! But it was a warm day in early September — so it was not too bad!

Rain or shine, snow or ice, I  wouldn’t be what I am today without you. Your support, encouragement, and belief in my business throughout the year has meant more than words can express. Whether you showed up, spread the word, trained with me, or supported me behind the scenes, I am truly grateful.

I also want to give a big, heartfelt shout-out and thank you to the Harlem Morningside Farmer’s Market community. Even though my attendance wasn’t always announced, the warmth, support, and love shown to me  — especially throughout this winter season — did not go unnoticed. Your kindness and support truly meant so much to me, and I am  incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing community.

The New York Times recently featured a captivating story about one of the vendors at Grand Bazaar NYC, a vibrant marketplace on the Upper West Side where I also regularly sell my products. The article beautifully showcases the creativity, resilience, and dedication that drive his work. What truly resonated with me personally is that he is an immigrant, just like me.

Grand Bazaar NYC has long been a melting pot of immigrant stories, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship. Being a part of this market means being surrounded by individuals who have built something meaningful through perseverance, cultural heritage, and a strong sense of community. When one of our fellow vendors is recognized by the New York Times, it fills us with pride and a sense of belonging as all of us who call this market home.

If you’re interested in learning more about the story or if you find yourself on the Upper West Side, I highly recommend visiting Grand Bazaar NYC. It’s a place brimming with talent, stories, and connections. I’m proud to be a part of it !
The Coolest Block in the Lower East Side

Above and below are pictures from the Coolest Block competition. I was honored to participate and excited to be awarded third place in the judging!

The competition is all about protecting and promoting the natural environment. Trees are so important to keeping our city inviting and beautiful.

And around the East Village and beyond…
